I immediately fell in love with the city. Its rich cultural heritage and unique quality of life make it, in my eyes, one of the finest student cities. Choosing the “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy therefore felt like the natural choice, drawn by its academic excellence, its international outlook, and the kindness and dedication of its faculty.These three years have given me far more than a degree: they have helped shape the person I am today.They allowed me to grow, gain confidence, and experience an extraordinary human journey. I will always cherish the memories of my first practical classes, my first encounters with patients, my first surgery, neonatal resuscitation, the countless hours spent studying with friends, and, above all, the lifelong friendships forged along the way.Being named valedictorian is an immense honour. To me, this distinction is the result of perseverance and a reminder that, with hard work and determination, anything is possible.To every future student, I would simply say: dare to step outside your comfort zone. What once seemed like a sacrifice became one of the greatest experiences of my life.
