🎓✨ UMF Iași onorează excelența academică! | Șef de Promoție 2025📸 Julia Daniela DRINCAL – Valedictorian, Balneophysiotherapy and recovery, program in english🗨️ Firstly I chose Romania because this country shaped my personality in many ways, I fell in love with its culture and the warmth of its people. When I thought about where to pursue my studies, UMF Iasi immediately came to mind. It’s one of the most prestigious medical faculties in Romania, and even though I wasn’t sure I’d get in, I knew I had to try. My journey began with a deep love for biology. All I ever wanted was to do something I truly cared about, and do it really well. What truly deepened my interest was learning that UMF offers more than just a standard physiotherapy curriculum. The opportunity to study balneology, physical therapy, and kinesiotherapy as interconnected disciplines sparked a stronger desire in me to be part of this program. I knew I would learn from experienced and passionate professors, and that I would be challenged to grow every single day. I wanted that. I wanted to be pushed. I believe UMF Iasi was the right place to become the best version of myself, and I still believe that today. Studying at this faculty has given me many unforgettable moments. Professionally, it meant turning a dream into reality, working hands-on with real physiotherapy equipment and techniques, and learning directly from professors who clearly have a deep passion for their field. Their dedication made learning not only easier, but genuinely enjoyable. A few highlights for me were the opportunity to do practical work in different parts of the world, finding my way in a new city, and giving me a broader and real-world understanding of the profession. Being part of the English program also allowed me to interact with people from all over the world, such as those from France, Italy, Greece, Israel, Nigeria, and many other places. I met people with different cultures, values, and ways of thinking. And I won’t lie, it wasn’t always easy or sweet, but reflecting on those experiences helped me grow, challenged my views, and shaped me into who I am today. That kind of personal growth is something I believe every future student should strive for, beyond just the academic journey. I know that for many of you, choosing a path for your professional life while still in high school can feel overwhelming. My advice? Follow your passion and trust your intuition. From my point of view, it’s actually simple, if you feel drawn toward anything in the field of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, bioengineering or physiotherapy, then UMF Iași is definitely a university you should strongly consider. It strikes a great balance between the quality of education, supportive and knowledgeable staff, and a welcoming environment. The city of Iași itself is calm, student-riendly, and full of history and culture. And yes, I know many of you are also thinking about whether it’s financially doable. It's not a small investment, but compared to many other universities, it offers real value for the cost. 🎓✨ UMF Iași onorează excelența academică! | Șef de Promoție 2025📸 Maëva Marie BOYARDEL – Major de promotion, Médecine dentaire, programme d'études en français🗨️ J’ai choisi de faire mes études de médecine dentaire à l’UMF Iași parce que c’est bien plus qu’une simple faculté : c’est un véritable lieu d’apprentissage et d’accompagnement. Ici, chaque étudiant compte. Les professeurs ne se contentent pas de transmettre un savoir, ils nous soutiennent, nous encouragent, et nous inspirent à donner le meilleur de nous-mêmes. À l’UMF Iași, on apprend bien sûr la médecine, mais on apprend aussi la rigueur, l’écoute, la persévérance et l’humilité : des valeurs essentielles pour devenir un professionnel de santé digne de ce nom.Parmi tous les souvenirs de ces années, ce sont mes premiers pas en clinique qui m’ont le plus marquée. C’était un véritable tournant : passer des cours théoriques à la pratique concrète, rencontrer de vrais patients, se tenir pour la première fois face à une personne qui place sa confiance en vous. J’ai ressenti un mélange d’excitation, de trac, et surtout un profond sens des responsabilités. Chaque geste comptait, chaque mot avait du poids. Ces premiers instants en blouse blanche m’ont rappelé pourquoi j’avais choisi cette voie, et ils ont renforcé ma passion pour le métier de dentiste. Lorsque je suis sortie du lycée, j’ai décidé de faire confiance à l’UMF Iași pour commencer mon parcours universitaire, et aujourd’hui, je peux dire avec conviction que c’était l’un des meilleurs choix de ma vie.L’UMF Iași, c’est une université qui allie excellence académique et véritable dimension humaine. Les enseignements y sont rigoureux, complets et bien structurés, avec des bases solides en sciences médicales dès les premières années. Mais ce qui fait vraiment la différence, ce sont les professeurs : ils sont investis, passionnés, disponibles, et profondément engagés dans la réussite de leurs étudiants. Et puis il y a la ville de Iași, dynamique, rassurante, où l’on s'y sent vite bien, même quand on arrive directement après le bac.
